The house is perfectly set up for outdoor living with; a sun deck, an alfresco dining area, a gas BBQ and the most inviting infinity pool. Here guests can relax and enjoy incredible views across the fields to Gharb’s beautiful Basilica Tal-Madonna.

Inside, the light and airy townhouse is stylishly furnished with a blend of carefully chosen pieces that complement its natural limestone walls and traditional charm. The bright, open-plan living space also incorporates the kitchen/dining room and is comfortably furnished with a 6-seater sofa and a smart flatscreen satellite TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with; a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a Dolcegusto coffee machine, a dishwasher, a fridge freezer and a large dining table.

Location

The property is located in the charming village of Għarb on the Northwestern side of Gozo. There are several restaurants and grocery stores within a 5-minute drive of the accommodation and guests can also visit the local Tal-Massar Winery which is a 5-minute walk away.

Gharb is situated in a peaceful rural area, known for its skilled craftspeople, visitors can meet local artisans who manufacture beautiful lace, metal, filigree and glass in Ta’ddbiegi Crafts Village (a 3-minute drive). Dwejra Bay’s natural, inland sea pool is a 10-minute drive, here you can swim and dive in the shallow warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Ramla Bay, Gozo’s largest sandy beach, famous for its red sand and clear waters, is a 20-minute drive away.

History lovers will enjoy Victoria the capital of Gozo (a 15-minute dive). The city is known for its medieval citadel, museums and the opulent St. George’s Basilica. In Independence Square (It-Tokk) guests will find open-air cafes and market stalls. St. George’s Square is also a popular destination and full of al-fresco cafes and bistros.

Malta\'s typical Mediterranean climate is sunny with average daily sunshine of five to six hours in mid-winter and twelve hours in summer, with over 300 days of sunshine and warm weather a year. Summers are hot, dry and very sunny. Its remarkably mild winters and intense blue skies make it an ideal place for long walks in the countryside.

The closest international airport is Malta Airport (MLA), approximately a 1 hour 30-minute journey which includes a ferry crossing from the accommodation in Gozo to Cirkewwa, Malta. The ferry passes by Comino, the 3rd Island forming part of the Maltese Archipelago, known for its caves and turquoise waters.
