This beautifully presented 4-bedroom holiday escape comfortably sleeps 8 guests and is nestled on the outskirts of Ghasri village a two-minute drive / 7-minute walk from the famous Ta’ Pinu Shrine.

The property blends classical Gozitan charm with contemporary style and enjoys plenty of outside living space with; a generous pool, a spacious sun terrace, a balcony and an alfresco dining area.

The light and airy accommodation is arranged over two floors with two separate living spaces. On the ground floor, the kitchen leads through to a dining area and TV snug furnished with; a dining table, a large corner sofa and a smart flatscreen satellite HDTV. Guests can also step out onto the balcony that overlooks the pool and enjoy views of the countryside. The kitchen is equipped with; a cooker hob, a coffee machine, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer.

A sweeping staircase leads down to the second space which is furnished with three large sofas that look out to the pool and sun terrace. This is the ideal place to curl up with a good book, enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with a drink at the end of the day.

Bedrooms 2 & 3: The second and third bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe.

Location

The property is located a 7-minute walk from the centre of Ghasri one of the smallest villages on Gozo. The village enjoys a small, town square with traditional shops, a charming chapel and a grocery store (an 8-minute walk). There are several restaurants within a 5-minute drive of the accommodation and guests can also visit the local Tal-Massar Winery which is approximately a 5-minute drive away.

Nearby excursions include a visit to the Basilica of the Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta’pinu (a 7-minute walk) or a hike to the Ta’ Gurdan Lighthouse (a 25-minute walk) to enjoy views across the Valley. Adventurers will also enjoy the narrow fjord-like inlet and secluded beach at Wied il-Ghasri (a 9-minute drive), which lies at the end of the Ghasri valley. Beach lovers will want to head a little further along the coast to Reqqa Point (an 11-minute drive) which is famous for its salt pans and a popular place for swimming, snorkelling and diving.

Malta\'s typical Mediterranean climate is sunny with average daily sunshine of five to six hours in mid-winter and twelve hours in summer, with over 300 days of sunshine and warm weather a year. Summers are hot, dry and very sunny. Its remarkably mild winters and intense blue skies make it an ideal place for long walks in the countryside.

The closest international airport is Malta Airport (MLA), approximately a 1 hour 30-minute journey which includes a ferry crossing from the accommodation in Gozo to Cirkewwa, Malta. The ferry passes by Comino, the 3rd Island forming part of the Maltese Archipelago, known for its caves and turquoise waters.
