In a peaceful part of the charming town of Stresa, this airy apartment is less than a 15-minute walk from the shores of Lake Maggiore. On the second floor (with lift) of an attractive modern residence, the apartment sleeps 5 people in comfort. It makes an ideal base from which to explore the lake and the surrounding country.

The décor throughout the property is modern and tasteful. The contemporary living area has two sofas, a flat-screen Smart Digital TV and a dining area. Double glass doors lead out to a private terrace with a table and chairs for an aperitivo. The separate kitchen is brand new and well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee machine. There is also a convenient breakfast bar.

The apartment has a separate laundry room with a washing machine and sink.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The corner master bedroom has a king-size double bed and a wardrobe, plus a glass door leading out onto the balcony.
Bedroom 2: This light-filled bedroom is furnished with a king-size double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: This cosy bedroom has a single bed, a large wardrobe and French windows leading out onto the balcony that runs along the edge of the apartment.

Bathroom
The modern, mosaic bathroom is equipped with a shower, bidet, basin and WC.

Location
Stresa is best known for its grand Art Deco villas and elegant hotels. Its lakefront promenade gives visitors the perfect location for admiring both the lake and the town. Stresa hosts many international cultural festivals, including cinema and music, throughout the year.

The Borromean Islands make a wonderful day out. Visitors can discover beautiful villas, gardens and churches.

Away from the lake, children will enjoy Alpyland (35 minutes) an alpine roller coaster with magnificent views over Lake Maggiore.

For self-catering, Stresa’s market (Friday mornings) is a treasure trove for the best local produce. Otherwise, there are many excellent grocery shops and supermarkets close by.

Milan’s international Malpensa airport is a 50-minute drive.
