Your premium house with private terrace is the ideal holiday destination for your mountain holiday in the middle of Germany. The premium houses in the Wasserkuppe holiday village - 950 metres above sea level - are designed for an occupancy of 2 (max. 6) people.

For breakfast, lunch or dinner you can stop off at the neighbouring restaurant Peterchens Mondfahrt (please note opening times).

The tourist tax for the town of Gersfeld of € 2.10 per person (from 14 years) and night is not included in the accommodation price and will be charged additionally.
The fully equipped wooden houses in the Wasserkuppe holiday village offer everything you need for a relaxing mountain holiday in the middle of Germany. From the holiday village you have direct access to the summer toboggan runs, the piste, the flying and model aircraft slopes, the gliding museum and the gliding airfield. You also have direct access to the Rhön's huge network of cycling and hiking trails. The holiday village also has a ski and snowboard hire shop and a top-rated e-bike shop and hire shop.

All houses are equipped with a kitchen, bedroom(s), living room, private terrace, WiFi and satellite TV. You can enjoy additional comfort in our deluxe houses with their own outdoor whirlpool and private sauna. Two star park houses with a retractable roof allow an unobstructed view of the starry sky.

For self-catering, there is a regional farm shop directly on site. Breakfast buffet and excellent Rhön cuisine with seasonally changing dishes are available in the neighbouring restaurant Peterchens Mondfahrt.

The Wasserkuppe holiday village promises a carefree family holiday in one of the highest accommodation facilities in Germany. With its own playground, children's lift and the attractions at the neighbouring "fairytale meadow", children will never get bored up here either. From December to March, the holiday village offers an average of 110 days with a blanket of natural snow. All houses are equipped with toboggans or bobsleighs.

As a venue for FAI World Cups, the Wasserkuppe has been recognised as one of the best flying areas in the world. With very well-marked cycle and hiking trails, the Rhön is one of the most popular biking and hiking regions in Germany.

Car parks and charging facilities for electric cars are available on site. Mountain holidays at the holiday home Wasserkuppe are also possible without a car: our house can be reached via many cycling and hiking trails, as well as by public transport.
