Attention to detail from bringing stunning designer holiday rentals since 1997! (This is our 8th) The design by Barcelona based Studio Avlio really responded to our brief of non generic airbnb set ups to respect the amazing city of BCN, its culture, colours and vibe whilst ensuring our guests are delighted to stay here and sad to leave because their comforts and requirements are fully meet in an inspirational space.

Studio Avelio
Lily Helps, the creative force behind Studio Avilo, found inspiration for the apartment in the rich cultural tapestry of bullfighting. However, her focus was not on the sombre reality of the sport but rather on paying homage to Catalonia, the pioneering region in Spain that took a stand against the killing of bulls. The design narrative draws from various facets of bullfighting—ranging from the elegant attire to the fervent passion, the intricate delicacy, and the gentle curves reminiscent of the arena. Colours burst forth, reminiscent of the vibrant spectacle, while even the modest homes of esteemed bullfighters serve as a wellspring of inspiration. In essence, Lily Helps weaves a cohesive story that celebrates the cultural heritage of bullfighting in a way that is both respectful and aesthetically captivating.

Other things to note
Mid August - Gràcia Festival

The Fiesta de Gràcia is loud, it’s raucous, and it should be treated as a marathon: It goes on all day, every day, for a whole week in mid-August. This street festival features a competition between streets to see who can win the prize of being the best-decorated street. You will be amazed by the canopies of colorful decoration from above and the creativity and originality that each street demonstrates. There is food and rides and activities for children, too.
