Puerto de Mogán is an area with a marine tradition which because of its unique setting and natural beauty, has evolved into one of the most beautiful urban settlements of the Canary Islands. The marina, where many international sailing enthusiasts converge, has 225 moorings and is an excellent sailing spot, making the port of Mogán an unforgettable place.

For those interested in culture, a walk thorough the streets of the centre is recommended, to see the church of Saint Anthony (Iglesia de San Antonio), built in The church includes a beautiful wooden carving and statues of Saint Anthony of Padua and the Immaculate Conception.

Gran Canaria has beaches to suit all tastes. From the enormous extension of the Maspalomas dunes to the multitude of bays along the coastline of Mogán. From the lively beach at Las Canteras, to the tiny coves to the north of the island.

In general, visitors should experience few problems travelling in the Canary Islands. The biggest threat Gran Canaria may pose is a bad case of sunburn or a nasty hangover! Regardless of the time of year that you choose to visit Gran Canaria, don't be fooled by cool breezes and cloudy days.
