Your villa is situated in a quiet, enclosed domain, next to a golf course and just a few minutes from the renowned 'Mougins School'. Cycling or hiking in the National Park de la Valmasque, as well as golfing activities, are all within walking distance. Cannes, Antibes, or Saint-Paul-de-Vence are also only 20-30 away. The charming old town of Mougins, situated on a small hill, with its restaurants and galleries, is always worth a visit.
The house itself is an old Mas, which is a very typical sight in the south of France. Nevertheless, it had been completely remodeled and furnished in a modern style. The light-flooded interior is tastefully decorated in a way that will make you feel comfortable right away. Thus, when you open the front door, you’ll instantly feel at home. Your holiday home comes equipped with a fast fibre-optic internet connection, which is also provides cable television. The use of the internet with your own WiFi-enabled devices is easy and free of charge for the tenant.

The property on top of a small hill, located within a secure and closed domaine, has a great view onto the ‘Parque de la Valmasque‘, which resembles a sea of trees. The parque is located directly at the exit of the Domaine and offers several circular and hiking trails that are suitable for the whole family. You walk along a river through the forest and can often see wildlife. The routes are accessible all year round. The immediate vicinity of this national park may be used for picnics, walks with and without dogs, cycling or just being immersed by nature.
If you play golf, you are in luck, because the prestigious 18-hole Cannes-Mougins Golf Country Club (6211m, Slope 145) is located right in front of the domain as well. Also, the ‘Etang de Fontmerle‘ is within walking distance from your cottage and especially with a dog, it is well worth the walk. This lake is home to the largest colony of lotus flowers in Europe and to over 70 different species of birds. A picnic here is particularly enjoyable.
This special stretch of land called the Côte d'Azur has so much to offer and life here is just full of nice things to experience. The ease of the mediterranean ‘savoir vivre‘ makes for great summer memories that will make you long to return.
