This well-appointed villa boasts pleasant views across olive groves and orchards to the sea in the distance and offers convenient access to the village of Gerani, a Blue Flag beach and the historic town of Rethymnon.
Murtal has been very well styled using warm colours throughout in a modern, open plan design. The ground floor is split-level and consists of a beautifully designed kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area overlooking the pool and a comfortable lounge. There is also a welcoming double bedroom and a bathroom. On the upper floor there are two further ensuite bedrooms with direct access to large, panoramic terraces.
The main living areas downstairs lead to the stylish decked terrace, where the star of the show is the charming aqua green pool which blends perfectly with the olive trees nearby. There are comfortable sunbeds, a dining area and a canopy for additional shade poolside. The villa is within walking distance to the centre of Gerani, a quaint village in the foothills of the White Mountains with traditional tavernas and delicious bakeries. Gerani’s Blue-Flag beach is a ten-minute walk away and if you wish to explore further, Rethymnon impresses with its attractive old town, waterfront restaurants and vibrant nightlife, all within a ten-minute drive.

Mobility statement - This villa is in a hilly/mountainous area. To access the villa there is a path which is 100cm wide alongside 5 steps. The front door has a width of 85cm, whilst the door to the terrace is also 85cm wide. Outside, the alfresco dining is accessed via 5 steps. The poolside is surrounded by decking and mostly flat. Inside, there are 5 steps between the lounge and the kitchen/dining area. These steps are also required to access the ground-floor bedroom. The door into the lounge/kitchen is 100cm wide.
