This pretty, detached Villa comfortably sleeps 6 guests and enjoys its own large, sunny garden, the perfect home-away-from-home for a relaxing family holiday. Children will enjoy the extensive playground with a slide, swings and lots of outside toys whilst grownups will enjoy relaxing on the sun loungers. The whole family can utilise the BBQ and dine alfresco on the shady terrace.

Inside, the open-plan living space is informally divided by a wooden staircase that leads to a single bedroom and small bathroom. Downstairs the spacious living area is furnished with a large sofa, coffee table, wood-burning stove, flat-screen smart HDTV and a dining table for 6. The separate, fully fitted kitchen is equipped with a microwave, oven, cooker hob, Nespresso machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher and smaller dining table. Both rooms have access to the garden and the whole property is equipped with air-conditioning.

Bedroom 1: The spacious master bedroom is situated on the ground floor and furnished with a king-size bed, chest of drawers and a wardrobe

Bedroom 2: The bright second bedroom is also situated on the ground floor and furnished with twin beds and a large wardrobe

Bedroom 2: The third bedroom is situated on the first floor and is furnished with a single bed and a wardrobe

Extra: There is also a single sofa bed in the living room.

Location

The beautiful village of Angera is located on the east side of Lake Maggiore and is dominated by an impressive castle, the Fortress of Angera (La Rocca di Angera) which proudly stands on the top of a rocky promontory that overlooks the entire southern side of the lake.

Angera benefits from the evening sun along the lakeside making it the ideal spot for an evening dip. For those looking to explore Lake Maggiore, there is a car-passenger ferry stop a 5-minute drive away or approximately a 30-minute walk. Parco del Golfo della Quassa the waterfront nature park featuring walking & biking routes, beach areas and historic sites is a 5-minute drive away.

This historic village is quieter than some of the more tourist hotspots like Stressa (a 40-minute drive) or Anora (a 20-minute drive), however they are both within easy reach if you want to liven things up.

The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa Airport, approximately a 40-minute drive from the accommodation.
