The villa  sits in a peaceful rural setting at the heart of Chianti Classico, with the region’s well-known towns, wineries, and castles within easy reach. The Dievole Wine Resort, offering tastings and excellent dining, is only five kilometers away. The Dievole Nature Path provides an atmospheric route through historic farm roads for walkers, cyclists, or riders. The village of Vagliagli, four kilometers distant, has a good restaurant, and Gaiole in Chiant which is just twenty minutes away offers shops, eateries, and a small supermarket. Castellina and Castelnuovo Berardenga are also close by. A stop at the Gelateria di Castellina is highly recommended, as is a stroll to the nearby Parco Sculture del Chianti. Siena is around a 30-minute drive, with Florence, Arezzo, and San Gimignano ideal for day trips.

Villa Poggiarello consists of a main villa with two apartments and a separate annex cottage. Both stone buildings sit beautifully within their gardens, featuring furnished terraces for alfresco dining and plenty of shaded spots to relax.
