Tucked away on a south-west facing hillside just a 17 minute walk from the pretty sandy beach of Tamariu (1.2km) and overlooking fragrant forests of Mediterranean pine this sweetest of villas enjoys a superb location, advantageously in the middle of an area which boasts some of the most iconic beaches and captivating towns to be found along this fascinating coastline of Catalunya.
The interior is bright and comfortable with two shower rooms (one en-suite), an L-shaped living/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen that conveniently opens to a delightful outdoor dining terrace overlooking the spacious pool area and wild garden below.

With so much so near some may wish to simply alternate between relaxing at the poolside and strolling downhill to enjoy the pleasing selection of seafront restaurants in Tamariu. Others may choose to explore the nearby coves of Aigua Xelida (1.3km), swim in the dazzling turquoise waters of Aigua Blava (1.8km), or explore the delightful town of Begur with its narrow winding streets, elegant colonial style buildings and stunning 11th Century hilltop castle. Further afield, the ring of picturesque medieval villages around the pottery town of La Bisbal, which perfectly complement the rugged coastline, is easily reached along charming country lanes.

However you plan to spend your holiday Villa Sophia is most definitely an excellent choice for a couple or small family group.

Young children will require supervision due to the terraced grounds and the gaps between the balustrades.
