Ca'n Jaume Barretes stands majestically encompassed by lovingly cared for Mediterranean gardens, swaying palms provide shade as well as character to a spacious lawn that brings promise of endless hours of fun for smaller children. Bougainvillea creep up the terrace corner wall to add a splash of colour to the ornate Terracotta tiled summer kitchen, whilst the 12m pool evolves into the focal point of this oasis, as the sun reaches the height of midday.
The split-level design of the spacious interior creates a choice of niches in which to retreat. A bright, airy kitchen overlooks the pool with direct access to the terrace, transforming the art of cooking into an absolute pleasure. Comfortable furnishings on the lower level are tastefully arranged amidst the strategic distribution of bedrooms, providing everyone with their own space.

The rural location of this enchanting property is opportunely centred between the Medieval old quarters of Pollença and Alcudia, both brimming with a vibrant historical past, narrow cobbled streets meandering through a maze of local craft boutiques, mouth-watering aromas of freshly grilled tapas and small trendy cafes where locals pass the time of day, playing their part in the fascinating scene that unfolds before you.

The wide choice of nearby rocky coves, sandy calas and more extensive stretches of beach with shallow, turquoise waters, is sufficient to keep you engaged for the duration of your stay - in fact for future visits as well. A mere 10 minute drive away, Playa de Muro is a firm favourite with families, due to gently shelving slopes that lead in to the clear waters, whilst the more active make their way to Cala San Vicente where snorkelling and scuba diving are prevalent.
