Bordered by lawn and olive trees, a spacious sun terrace envelops the private swimming pool with a pergola-shaded dining area and substantial gas barbecue to one side making outdoor living a hugely enjoyable, effortlessly fun experience; indeed, you can almost smell the heady aromas of chilled local wine and freshly grilled calamari!

Immensely attractive and styled with great taste, internal décor at Eratito is a thoughtfully curated mixture of natural stone elements, 'wood' tiled flooring and high timber-beamed ceilings complemented by soft pastel shades and brightly contrasting artwork; all in all, the perfect recipe for a charming, restful and very welcoming ambience.

On the ground-floor both the double bedroom and chic living/dining area, with kitchen alongside, open conveniently onto the pool and garden. Upstairs you will find a snug mezzanine-style twin bedroom set within the timber ceiling plus a spacious principal bedroom with en suite shower room and delightful private balcony from where eye-catching vistas of the Ionian Sea shimmering above the treeline can be enjoyed.

Nearby, the village of Tsoukalades (950m) has good everyday amenities with a more comprehensive choice found both on the way to and in the island capital Lefkada Town (7km). Tucked away down a country track, the local beach (2.3km) is a pretty little strip of sandy coastline lapped by pristine waters while the much larger Pefkoulia (3.5km) is considered amongst the best beaches on the island.

The mezzanine-style twin bedroom is not suitable for very young children.
