A lovely situation on the outskirts of the delightful fishing village of Tamariu means that Mas Sureda is ideal for families of different generations who wish to enjoy their independence by walking down to the sandy beach and seafront restaurants. Alternatively, a short drive over the pine clad hills will bring you to the hidden coves of Aigua Xelida, perfect for snorkelling, and to the stunning bay of Aigua Blava with its fine sandy beach and excellent bar/restaurant.
This is a light and airy house. The spacious living/dining room is comfortably furnished, with an open plan kitchen to one side and large sliding doors leading to the covered dining terrace from where children can be easily supervised in the swimming pool. For added comfort each of the six bedrooms has air conditioning and all are decorated in fresh colours with the use of tasteful fabrics.

A short walk downhill takes you to the horseshoe seafront promenade. Amateur jugglers, would-be violinists, local artisans offering their wares below the light of burning gas lamps, fishermen preparing to leave at dusk in search of 'calamar' - all this makes one realise that this is the Mediterranean coast the ancient Greeks and Romans once discovered and fell in love with.

Early evening is a great time to sit beside the beach with a drink and let the children play on the sand, watch a beach volleyball match or simply mingle with the locals and watch a game of 'petanc' while soaking up the gentle family atmosphere of this stunning bay.

*Air conditioning is £250 per week, payable in advance of your holiday if required. Larger than average gaps in the stair banister mean that young children will need supervision.
