Il Giogo is located on a 45 acre wine and olive farm in the middle of chianti with spectacular views of the Chianti countryside. It is part of the Casavecchia Estate belonging to descendants of the noble Antinori family, famous for its cultivation of grapevines that still surround the property today.
The picturesque gardens are dotted with olive and fruit trees in a typical Tuscan fashion.
Guest access
The guest will have access to the whole farm and can take romantic strolls through the vines and down to the stream that runs through the property. There is easy access to the farm from the main road.
Other things to note
There is a bus stop just outside the front gate with direct transit to central Florence or nearby San Casciano which is also reachable by foot in 20 mins. We can organise for you a number of wonderful activities on the farm and in the surrounding area including wine and olive oil tasting, tours of nearby towns and villages, culinary experiences and services, artist workshops and more. We also can organise private taxi services to take you where ever you need. Ideally situated for day trips to all tourist attractions.
