Ferme St Christophe offered by Alps Accommodation Samoens, is an historic farmhouse located in the unspoilt hamlet of Vallon d’en Bas, Samoens. Initially built in the early 18th century, it has undergone a 3 year, no compromise, renovation project. This has produced a 400m2 property of the very highest standard, plus a further 100m2 converted barn with yoga suite and additional living space, offering a truly spacious and luxurious stay. A triumphant mix of authentic alpine and contemporary luxury, enjoy delights such as hand-crafted woodwork, exposed beams, limestone flooring, exquisite artwork, and the highest quality fixtures and fittings. An incredibly comfortable lounge with library and roaring log fire, an elegant dining room with oak dining table and second log fire, and a huge, fully equipped kitchen. In the lounge, an LCD TV appears magically at the touch of a button, with a second TV in the barn. High-speed fiber internet is also available.

All 8 bedrooms are ensuite and furnished with high quality furniture and luxury linen and towels. 3 of the bedrooms can be configured as twins or super kings. Please let us know after booking how you require the bedrooms to be configured.
The room with the single bed is in fact a queen size bed.

A 9th double bedroom/studio apartment with ensuite (walk in shower, WC) is available on the ground floor, perfect for a nanny, or other member of staff. Please let us know in advance if you require this room.

PLEASE NOTE, for insurance reasons the property can only accommodate a maximum of 15 people, INCLUDING babies.

The farmhouse is surrounded by 3200m2 of private secluded gardens including huge lawn areas, fruit trees/bushes, and an apple orchard! Enjoy wonderful views towards the surrounding mountains including the famous Criou, the dramatic Cathédrale, and the many peaks of the Grand Massif ski area.

Without a doubt, one of the highlights is the traditional hot tub which affords fantastic views over the entire gardens towards the farmhouse. Located directly next to it, an extra large Swedish sauna is hidden away inside a renovated mazot. The sauna also contains a shower and separate WC. Linking the sauna and hot tub, a terrace offers a place to cool off.

In winter, if you choose to use our recommended ski hire company not only do Alps Accommodation's guests get 20% discount but they also have heated lockers on the piste. Therefore you can store your all your ski equipment overnight on the piste, meaning you can wear your normal shoes to walk to the lift, take the ski bus or take advantage of the free parking at the lift.
