￫ Walk anywhere to major neighbourhoods of interest, e.g. Santos, Alcântara and Campo de Ourique. The latter is a mere 10 minute walk from the apartment, and has many attractions including its ‘Mercado’ - a fresh food market and excellent licensed food hall.
￫ Plenty of other high quality local Portuguese restaurants are nearby, along with other good international cuisines, e.g., a Greek restaurant - Pita Gourmet Campo de Ourique is just 200 meters away, plus the Melbourne Coffee House (500 meters), for good ‘Australian’ coffee and breakfast/brunch.

￫ Great accessibility to the Lisboa coastline (e.g. to Cascais) from Alcantara-Mar train station and major tourist attractions via bus #773 (that’s right outside the front door), also the historic tram network, including the world famous Tram 28 that stops at the bottom of the road, close to Jardim da Estrela and Basilica da Estrela.
- Good supermarket: Pingo Doce is a 10-min walk, and there are also many other small grocery shops nearby
