Omiš, once a pirate stronghold, is full of character. Explore its medieval fortresses, enjoy local dining, or take part in adventure activities along the Cetina River - from zip-lining to rafting. In summer, the town comes alive with open-air concerts and cultural events.

Just 20km away, Split blends ancient Roman ruins with buzzing markets and waterfront bars. Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must-see. For a longer day trip, the islands of Brač, Hvar and the UNESCO-listed town of Trogir are easily reached by ferry.
