Amongst the green hills of Montecatini Terme, a city famous for centuries for its thermal waters and consequential famous visitors, Villa Maona is an antique 18th century villa which has been completely restored internally.
It has been furnished with all modern comforts to permit the guests to enjoy their relaxation in what is, however, a completely authentic atmosphere.
The Villa has its own private park with swimming pool, olive groves and cypress trees, and a magnificent view of the original antique village of Montecatini Alto and of Montecatini Terme itself. The Villa owes its name to the Grotto Maona frequented by visitors and guided tours. From the Villa it is possible to make numerous trips to places of interest, from the beaches of Versilia to the antique monumental cities of Florence, Pisa, Siena and Luca, as well as the numerous vineyards of the area for wine tastings.
From the outside the villa presents itself as an antique Tuscan farmhouse, facing South and consequently always sunny. The location of Villa Maona is strategic: supermarket, elegant boutiques, typical restaurants and important wine cellars are just minutes away, as well as swimming pools, thermal facilities, golf courses, tennis courts, riding stables, lakes for sport fishing, cycling or jogging and trekking.
