A superbly located three bedroom duplex apartment with character in a classic Alpine style lodge to rent in the beautiful village of Samoëns, in the Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps.

This well-equipped three-bedroom and two bathroom apartment is the ideal choice for your winter and summer holiday. Situated on the second floor with lift access, the apartment comes with its own ski & bike locker and private underground double car parking. The apartment is just 300m from Samoëns Town Centre, 900m from the Grand Massif Express Ski Lift and the free/frequent ski-bus (that goes to both the Grand Massif Express and Vercland) stops directly opposite the apartment (just 20m).

The living room has a stone fireplace with patio-style doors leading out to the balcony. There is an extendable oak table and chairs to seat 6 beside the galley-style kitchen. Also on this floor, there is a double bedroom which also has access to the balcony, and a bathroom complete with overhead shower and WC.

Upstairs, you will find a spacious twin room with an ensuite shower room and WC. The smaller third bedroom is also on the second level and it has a double sofa bed.

The large balcony is south-facing with stunning mountain views towards Samoens 1600 and the iconic Criou Mountain.

The beautiful village centre of Samoëns, with its plentiful shops and restaurants is within easy walking distance, as are the ice-rink and the leisure area at 'Lac Aux Dames'.

Samoëns sits in the stunning Giffre Valley which lies in between Morzine and Chamonix and was recently voted as the most beautiful village in the Haute-Savoie for 2021. From Samoëns, the whole of the Grand Massif ski area, which includes Flaine, can be explored. In total, 265km of pistes are linked. Samoëns is just a 50 minute drive from Geneva airport.

Samoëns is just as enjoyable in the summer with lots of things to see and do, including hiking, mountain biking (using the Grand Massif Express telecabine for access), outdoor swimming pools (5 minute walk), tennis, whitewater rafting, an outdoor adventure park, weekly markets and numerous summer festivals. In winter, if you prefer to walk to the slopes, there are ski lockers at Samoens 1600 and the lift to take you there is just a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment, naturally stopping for some pain au chocolat on route!
