Villa Avaton is positioned in a magical hillside location above Skopelos Town in the Raches area, which is blanketed by olive groves. The villa is within easy reach of Skopelos Town, with numerous tavernas, mini-markets, and magical strolls through the back streets passing its many churches and souvenir stores.
The views from Avaton are sensational, overlooking Skopelos Town and its fabulous bay, across to Mount Palouki and its monastery, then out to sea towards neighbouring Alonissos. Facing south easterly, the villa benefits from the early morning sun which then lasts for most of the day.
The villa is built over two levels, with all rooms facing out towards the view. Downstairs is an open plan living and dining area, well furnished and with a TV, CD and DVD player. The living room has a lovely fireplace and patio doors leading out to the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped and opens out to the living area. There is bathroom and double bedroom on this level. Avaton has a lot of outdoor space around it, with both natural shade from the olive trees and spacious sun terracing around the swimming pool.
Upstairs is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a traditional wooden ceiling, this room leads out to a side terrace and those excellent views. There is a further twin bedroom with a front balcony which has an en-suite bathroom. Villa Avaton, although built in a traditional style, benefits from all the touches of a modern villa. The location not only allows for wonderful views, but of easy access to the fantastic beaches and walks that Skopelos has to offer. Villa Avaton is ideal for families and couples alike.
