The village is situated in an unexplored, peaceful and calm area. Penedo is located within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, between Almoçageme, Colares and Pé da Serra.

Penedo is the highest village in the Serra de Sintra, with a privileged view over the landscape of the Natural Park. This is an ideal place for travelers looking for a place away from problems, in contact with nature.

Its privileged location allows people to reach important tourist spots in a short period of time, from the coast (4 km) to the city (35 km)

The area around the property is ideal for nature lovers: you can simply walk along the forest paths or, for people with a good level of fitness, ride a bike in the uneven mountain landscape (some bike circuits are nearby).
