Casa Cada is a spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin situated within 15 minutes drive from the picturesque Andalucian village of Competa with all amenities. Ideal for that relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle.
The outside space comprises of a large raised decked area, a large newly built BBQ area and your own swimming pool with plenty of seating area enabling you to bask in the sun.
One of the famous white villages of the axarquia, Cómpeta glistens against the impressive backdrop of the sierras. It retains its old world character as typified by the traditional municipal market, but offers modern facilities including several small supermarkets, bakeries, chemists, banks, swimming pool and an excellent hotel as well as some small B&B. Narrow streets wind around the village making a delightful place to take a stroll past the old houses with their flower filled balconies and perhaps stop for a small refreshment at one of the charming local bars.
Set in one of the most beautiful parts of spain, cómpeta is approximately 17 km inland from Torre del Mar and Nerja and only one hours drive from Malaga airport.
The surrounding area is mainly a farming community with many vineyards, olive and almond groves. The grapes are used to produce the strong wine for which the village is noted and dried to make raisins. The herb flavoured honey is another popular local product.
The spanish people here are very friendly to foreigners coming to live in their village and make you feel welcome
