Sitting in the heart of Chianti, close to the charming village of Moncioni, it overlooks the wide valley through which the River Arno traces its way south-east from Florence. The panoramic views across olive groves, from the side of your private pool or the generous bamboo-shaded terrace, are hard to beat.

Arranged over two floors of a lovingly furnished home, Le Ginestre is a truly welcoming base for a group of people. The wide-open aspect of Le Ginestre and its homely interior combine to produce a wonderfully peaceful and easy property. We guarantee switch-off mode here. If you have pets, the surrounding olive groves make for great early-morning walks. The villa has all the benefits of feeling remote and removed without being cut off. It’s also a lovely place to visit out of the main season, when that comfy lounge comes into its own. 



Drive further into the hills to explore Chianti’s popular small towns, such as Gaiole, Radda and Greve, or head for the cultural highlights of Arezzo, Siena and Florence – all are comfortably accessible from here. You must check out the restaurants in Montevarchi, your nearest larger town, but we’d wager the cool of your pool after a day out, and twinkling lights of the valley at night, will make dinners on your terrace a favourite. There is a large electricity pylon close to the villa.
