Colle val d’Elsa, known for its crystal glass production, is just a 10-minute drive and offers supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The nearby villages of Campiglia and Le Grazie have a few small local stores, and nature lovers will enjoy the Parco fluviale dell'Alta Val d'Elsa with its 4-km-long SentierElsa walking trail – perfect for a riverside picnic.
