La Ginestra is one of only ten houses in our “Borgo Santa Chiara”. It benefits from an exceptional position in the hills of the Tuscan Maremma, only a few miles from the coast and situated in the heart of an 18-hole golf course with breathtaking views over the rolling Tuscan hills and Mediterranean forests down to the sea and the Isle of Elba. The local climate is especially mild, even by Italian standards, with outdoor activities possible 12 months of the year.

The property is fenced and a driveway leads to the houses which are set around a central courtyard planted with olive and cypress trees. Each house also has its own garden with a shaded seating area and two covered parking spaces. There are also communal gardens and a 20-meter swimming pool.

The kitchen and living rooms of La Ginestra are on the ground level with large windows and French doors opening onto the garden. The house has 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms upstairs and a separate cloakroom and office/service room on the ground floor.

The attention to detail in the construction and in the furnishing of our property will give our visitors a sense of well-being and comfort. The chic and stylish furnishing combine understated elegance with a retro feel. A lot of attention has been given to create a homogenous design, which is practical but which does not compromise on aestethics. Attention to detail regarding lighting, colours, artwork and the coordination of soft furnishings make this property unique.

The construction quality is extremely high, kitchen and bathroom fittings are of international luxury brand standard. Features include hand-made Tuscan floor tiles, under floor heating, Villeroy & Boch bathroom fittings. Broadband WIFI and satellite TV are installed.

Our property was built recently in 2013 and was not conceived as a low-cost vacation home but as place that will stand the test of time and which will eventually be passed on to generations to come.

The Maremma is a stunning area in Southern Tuscany combining the unspoiled beauty of Nature in terms of its gentle hills and forests and the contrast with the nearby beaches. The area offers visitors a variety of activities, but many will find that they are so entranced by their house and its surroundings that they are content to stay put: swimming, sunbathing, sipping a glass of wine and watching the sun go down.
