Markopoulo is a quiet, authentic Greek village, known for its welcoming locals, narrow stone streets, and the famous Virgin Mary Festival in August. You’ll find a local taverna and mini market within walking distance, as well as stunning countryside for walking or biking.

We strongly recommend renting a car to make the most of your time on the island. That said, many guests are happy to stay put and enjoy the serenity of village life.
