Apartment

The apartment is located on the third floor of the historic "Palazzo Surian-Bellotto". In this palace, former French embassy on the the Venetian republic, the great philosopher and writer Jacques Rousseau lived. Overlooking the Canale di Cannaregio,in a central but quiet area, full of bars, typical restaurants and shops. The rooms, spacious and luminous, are arranged on one floor of about 140 square meters. In the large living room you can find two sofas, a table for 8 people and 50" TV. The kitchen is fully equipped, with stove, electric oven, fridge, freezer and electric kettle. The rooms both have a beautiful view of the canal, are air conditioned and equipped with king size beds, with nets and orthopedic and hypoallergenic mattresses to ensure our guests maximum comfort. On request we also provide a cot and a changing table for babies. The bed linen and towels are included, they are cleaned at each change to ensure maximum hygiene. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub, and is equipped with all the essentials. At your disposal you will also find the washing machine and iron. Incoming there's also a piano, available to the most creative ;)

The apartment is located in the heart of Cannaregio, the ancient district of Venice, a meeting place for the typical "spritz" with venetian "cicheti". The Cannaregio district is located immediately after the Santa Lucia Station and before Rialto and San Marco, along the main road "Lista di Spagna" and "Strada Nova". Typical Venetian neighborhood, ideal for those who want to stay in Venice avoiding the crowded areas of tourists, ideal place to have lunch or dinner, or just to drink a spritz. The Fondamenta of Cannaregio and Misericordia are full of places frequented by local people, with excellent Venetian cuisine and with reasonable prices. It's very close to the famous Venice Casino, recognized as the oldest gaming house in the world. Cannaregio is the destination for tourists that come by train and crossing it on foot along the streets to the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco ,it is perfect to approach to the most popular places; as a consequence, the streets, the foundations and the squares of Cannaregio are less crowded and this allows a more peaceful visit to the numerous attractions distributed in the surroundings.
