When UNESCO included the wine landscape of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato in its World Heritage List in 2014, it took a few years before Lonely Planet also realized that this relatively unknown Italian region is a winner. But in 2018, the well-known travel guide named Piedmont as one of the top destinations for a wonderful holiday. Excellent cuisine, beautiful landscapes and a burgeoning cultural scene were just a few words to describe Piedmont.

Casa Faretto rests on a foundation that was placed in the mid-19th century and following a thorough renovation now boasts two holiday houses that combine modern luxury, design and comfort with old details of the house such as the stairs, brick ceilings and the niches with old wooden beams.
