The apartment (65sqm) is based at the top floor of a small historic building, in the pedestrian zone of the shopping area, in the oldest center of Cagliari, 15 minutes by bike from the beach. From here, you're a few minutes walk to monuments, museums, the port, pubblic gardens, train/bus stations, multifloor parking. Practical, quiet, minimalistic, essential, with a subtle elegance. Ideal for those searching for comfortable vacation in town, a few steps away from the beach.
About the space;
This used to be our home, and has seen a lot of happy people go by. It's based in the pedestrian center of town, built in the 13th century. It is located on the 3rd floor, without elevator, is bright and airy, has exposed beams, built entirely in limestone blocks, and stimulates peace and serenity. That's why we called it Meigama, in sardinian "afternoon siesta". The home is equipped with many ameneties, like A/C, washer/dryer, beach umbrella, all that's necessary to prepare a gourmet dinner, dishwasher, shampoo, bio detergents. Free parking is available for our guests.
Other things to note;
Within 300 meters you'll find; city monuments, the museums with the statues of Mont'e Prama, the castle, the main port and marinas, the pubblic gardens, pubs, restaurants, parking, San Benedetto market, shopping areas, supermarkets.
Within 500 meters there are; train/bus/metro stations, marinas, botanical gardens, University, sports fields, pools. Poetto Beach is 3,5 km away and can be reached walking, by bike, car or bus. Pubblic busses are available every 20 minutes, the ride is about 15 minuties long to the 1st beach stop.
