The house is a two-storey building in central Athens. The visitors have access to the self-contained (with its own entrance) ground floor flat which is impressively spacious and full of light.
The owner, being an architect, made certain during the recent redecorating/refurbishing that the work shows respect for and highlights the original style of the building.
The flat enjoys a blend of contemporary ideas together with period features such as high ceilings with charming stucco decoration, an art nouveau fireplace, wooden floors, tile floors in kitchen and utility room showing the intricate design of the tiles of the era.
The flat offers visual interest and comfort in a open-plan sitting room and a delightful breakfast area under a bright sunny skylight. The breakfast table also serves as a pleasant working space for the laptop. The elegant presence of an upright piano completes the refined atmosphere of the house.
The space can accommodate families, couples, solo travellers and business people.
