The house is located in front of the magnificent, sandy beach of Mavro lithari only 25 km from the airport and 49 km. from the centre of Athens, it combines the peacefulness and relaxation of a beach house with the proximity to the vibrant city of Athens.
In less than 2km away (3mins by car or bus) is the village of Saronida where you can find a number of cafeterias, bars, restaurants, taverns as well as 4 open cinemas and supermarkets. where a number of small shops, bakeries, supermarkets as well as restaurants and tavernas can be found. Also, the area of Anavissos is 5km away (5mins by car or bus) where a number of small shops, bakeries, supermarkets as well as restaurants and tavernas can be found. It is therefore ideal for combining the seaside with the close proximity to a major city like Athens. The area is conveniently located 30 min. away from the airport.

Located along the Attica sea coastline, there are numerous beautiful beaches to discover, one next to the other. Depending on whether you want a quiet beach, sea sports or sun loungers and a beach bar, they can all be found in short distance. Just a few examples within a 4km range:

- Mavro lithari beach: sandy beach with sun loungers, beach bar, showers and beach volley. A beach with beach facilities.
- Eden beach: a variety of water sports is waiting for you, together with a beach bar, sun beds, showers and beach volley.

- Anavissos beach: The best location for windsurf in the Attica region, with a separate part of the beach for those who want to swim. The beach has shallow waters ideal for windsurfers and the more inexperienced with swimming or children.


A short 20mins ride from the house is the area of Glyfada, part of the southern suburbs of Athens. In Glyfada you can find an intense nightlife among others an 18-holes golf course, numerous shops and restaurants .
Another nice mini-excursion is the area of Sounion, 20mins far from the house. In Sounion you can see the ancient Temple of Poseidon built at c. 440BC. You can combine the visit to the temple with a swim in one of the nearby beaches and / or a meal in one of the local restaurants / tavernas. For the more romantic ones, you should definitely arrange to watch the sunset from the cape where the temple is located. The view is breathtaking!
Having a car is not necessary, as beaches and restaurants can be reached by feet or by bus. However, a car is recommended if you want to easily explore the area at your own convenience.
