Follow the narrow winding road from the square and you will reach the welcoming doors of lovely Villa Joyce to rent. The Villa is situated on a hilltop overlooking the vineyards and quant village of Megalochori, with the sparkling Aegean in the distance.

Enter into the courtyard, which is hand-laid by a local craftsman in the traditional \'Plakoto\' - paved with cobblestones - style. This Villa affords two separate living areas, which are connected by an outside stone flight of stairs. Combined this Villa can accommodate up to six guests. Villa Joyce provides a perfect base for those wanting to experience the many rhythms of the island.Included in the price are: Taxes, one car rental (w/unlimited mileage), two hour daily housekeeping, Concierge service and complementary cell phone. Upon request at additional charge: Private chef, grocery shopping and delivery, private masseuse, private tour guide and boat charter. An archway leads you into the magnificent master bedroom with domed ceiling. The extravagant en-suite bathroom features a large Jacuzzi and separate shower. The intimate dining room leads into the traditionally styled living area, with barn doors leading out into the courtyard. Original wooden doors lead into the comfortable second double bedroom, also ensuite.

The first floor of this Villa offers a large, furnished terrace, perfect for outside dining, with panoramic views of the surrounding area. The original wooden floor has been restored and the many windows allow for a bright and airy feel to the interior. The comfortable double bedroom boasts views overlooking the vineyards to one side and the sparkling Aegean to the other. A dressing room leads into the spacious bathroom with separate restroom. The cleverly designed open-plan kitchen and well appointed living area allows for casual entertaining.Peace, tranquility and by-gone days best describe one of the few traditional settlements on the island. Situated six miles from Fira, Megalochori is within easy reach of Akrotiri and many beaches on the island. Today Megalochori has a lively community with a fairly large number of permanent residents, adding to the local flavour and charm.
Megalochori presents a multitude of faces, with narrow roads begging to be explored. Three of the island\'s largest wineries are located here, with excellent tavernas located in the village.
