Rokanes glass stone pool house is a 100-year-old restored stone house in South Evia. Rokanies was a small living settlement until couple of decades ago, when it completely fell into disrepair.

The Villa Rokanes glass stone pool house represents the first house to be renovated respecting and preserving local architecture, nature and the history of the property.

Injecting passion, energy and love we created this unique retreat where we welcome you to revitalize yourself in this unique retreat and experience in a tranquil environment the spirit of an older era, smell the nature and enjoy the wild South Evian beauty.

Villa Rokanes glass stone pool house is located in South Evia Styra, a delightful village, just a 5-minute drive from the ferry port at Nea Styra and its regular ferry service to Agia Marina on the Greek mainland (an hours’ drive from Athens International Airport).
It consists of one double ensuite bedroom, one room with two beds, a living room with an iconic 4m long glass window with a comfortable large corner couch combined with fully equipped kitchen a WC with shower on the ground floor and an outdoor shower with hot water.
There is also a smart 55'' LG OLED TV in the living room and children’s toys and books are also provided.
The home has privacy and free parking.
Outside, you can enjoy your breakfast and romantic dinners at the sunset in one of the 2 tables on the stone terraces next to the pool or just spoil yourself with sunbathing on the sun loungers.

Getting around
Once you are out of the Rokanes villa you can walk through the small deserted ex - living settlement and connect with the nature and reconnect with yourself.

Villa Rokanes is positioned 5 minutes drive from Styra, a picturesque, genuine, untouched village on the mountain and 5 minute drive from the main village Nea Styra located at the sea.

Don’t miss visiting the Dryopes – Art and Culture Workshop at the fishing shelter of Nea Styra/new small harbour. At this local landmark you can enjoy various art exhibitions (photography, paintings, etc.), listen to atmosheric music and at the same time finish your visit by enjoying delicious local little bites/mezes with a glass of wine and ice cream.

Southern Evia represents a hikers’ dream. Add to your booking an organized tour to the Dimosaris or Charakas gorge and prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience.
Within half an hour drive you can find seductive deserted beaches with crystal clear waters and with lovely taverns to eat in.
Within 10 minutes drive you can visit the dragon houses, which are prehistoric megalithic constructions, unique in the Mediterranean and you can climb within one hour to the gate of Armenon or Larmenon,

The gate, that constitutes the emblem of the Municipality of Styra, is an impressive megalithic construction made with Cyclopean Stones, while the remains of an ancient cyclopean wall can be noted on the left and right side of it. The view from the top is more than rewarding after a 45min walk/climb.
