Villa Daphne is a stone built house that combines traditional Cretan design with modern facilities. With lots of space but still cozy, it's perfect for families or big groups of travellers that want to be close to everything but still have their privacy. It comes fully equipped, with complete office facilities for professionals, so you can still get some work done while on vacation. Hersonissos with its cosmopolitan beaches is only 15 minutes away. We are more than happy to accommodate you!

The space

Villa Daphne consists of a large central living area, 5 bedrooms with beds than can accommodate 12 people, including a crib for infants, 2 fully equipped bathrooms, and a WC. It also comes with covered parking space for 2 cars and lots of storage room. Three large verandas with BBQ offer amazing views to the nearby Lasithi mountains, the Aposelemis dam, and the submerged village of Sfendili. The land plot on which the villa stands is huge and offers very interesting hiking opportunities among the amazing flora and fauna of the area.

The central living area of the villa includes a fully equipped kitchen, complete with wood burning oven, a dining area with 4 big tables that can accommodate parties of over 20 people, and a living room with two couches and a flat screen TV. Just bove the living area is a fully equipped work space, complete with a conference table and workstation. All the bedrooms are bright and come equipped with high quality beds and mattresses that ensure a good night's sleep.

Guest access

Entire Villa with all its facilities and equipment. You will be able to enjoy the traditional wood burning oven of the house and be a part of the agricultural life style of the area.
The Villa offers covered parking space for two cars.

Other things to note

You definitely need a car and perhaps a satnav (GPS) system. Supermarkets can be found at "Potamies" village (4,4 km) and several good restaurants can be found in nearby villages, Avdou and Gonies (2-3 km). The property stands right opposite the Aposelemis' dam, and offers excellent views to it. Crete's only golf club is located just 7km away, while a beautiful water park can be found only 6,4km from the Villa. For adrenaline addicts, a famous paragliding point (parapente) is located 1,6 km away.

The view of the dam from the villa's veranda is breathtaking! The wild beauty of the Cretan Mountains is revealed as the villa is bathed by the light of the sun that emerges from the East. Listening to the sounds of nature awakens the visitor and invites him to discover the pathways surrounding the area. The villa is located in one of the greenest parts of the island of Crete, with amazing flora and fauna (including eagles and vultures) that await you to discover them.
