The area boasts 2 of the top golf courses of northern Italy, horse back riding and of course water sports. The closest ski resort is about one hour away.

The building is located in a village just on top of Stresa a bustling tourist town that is one of the major attractions and stops at Lago Maggiore.

The apartment is on the 3rd (top floor) walk-up in a residential building from the 1960s and was renovated in 2008. It has one in-suite bedroom, a master bedroom with access to the terrace and a third bedroom set up to accommodate up to three kids or a couple. There is a bicycle/storage room on the entrance level and 2 spots for parking along the building. The area is safe and quiet, there is a small playground nearby. Car recommended but it is possible to walk down to the center of town in 15 minutes.
