Olive Valley House will charm you! It is a traditional stone house with a total space of 120 Sqm with three bedrooms & so comfortably sleeps six people. It has just been restored to its original splendour with the fitted kitchen & bathroom being the only modern additions. The furnishing is all new & traditionally made by local expert carpenters. Cretan arts & crafts details to give an authentic atmosphere. The roof terrace has picturesque views of the village & the surrounding Dikti Mountains.

The rural village of Limnes has traditional streets that are too narrow for busy traffic and so it is a very peaceful place, that said there is a large Cretan community and six excellent Tavernas. Limnes is situated in a fertile region and the olive groves form a thick forest valley. The nearby village and wonderful beach of Plaka overlooking the famous island of Spinalonga is a short drive away through breath-taking countryside.

There are many beaches within 10 minutes drive. Plaka and the island of Spinalonga are great places to visit. Another beach village Elounda is just along the coast from Plaka where one can cross over the sea causeway to rocky private coves and family beaches.

In the direction of Vlichadia there are many wild beaches where one can be alone. Swimming with turtles and shoals of fish make excellent company for the nature seekers.
There are many hiking trails and gorges to explore.

Exploring gorges, canyons and caves such as the local Kritsa ravine, church and monastery visits, swimming and snorkelling, cooking, eating and drinking, Greek lessons for useful phrases, museums, spa and health options, wildlife and fauna, wine tour, olive picking and olive oil production for winter visitors.

Plaka and Elounda are small fishing villages of Lasithi, which overlook historical island of Spinalonga and the Kolikithia Peninsulaon.
Tourist boats depart from Plaka to Spinalonga on a daily basis.

There are many bus routes from the nearby town of Neapolis.

Limnes is a village in Lasithi Crete Region of Greece and is a listed traditional settlement.
There are three churches of interest in Limnes.
Locations near Limnes include: the town Neapolis, villages of Kasteli and Fournis, Choumerako.
The Areti Monastery and the Settlement of Agios Ioannis. Also in the vicinity are the ancient cities (now in ruins) of Olous and Lato.

Walking distance to several village cafes (Kafeneon) and tavernas.

It is the largest bay of the Greek islands and the fifth largest in the Mediterranean Sea.
