Regensburg, an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe - with lots of medieval charm. In fact it is said to have both more pubs and more churches per square meter than any other town. Enjoy the 'Italian atmosphere', the small alleys and the many outdoor-cafes, or relax in a true Bavarian shady beer garden. The apartment, is in perfect location for all of this. It is a 15 minute walk to the Old Town Center of the City or a less than 5 minute bus ride, with the bus stop (bus number 1) right in front of the building. Or just rent bicycles and move around like the locals or enjoy a ride along the Danube. The apartment is on the third floor of a 1907 built 4-story building, it has two bedrooms (one big one with a double bed, one small one with two separate beds), a dining room with a balcony, large living room (with sofa bed), a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with toilet, and an extra toilet. The apartment has been freshly renovated with great care - you will find the over 100 years old restored wooden floor with the typical high ceilings for that time- together with all modern amenities like free Internet and TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine. You will also find an ironing board, iron, hair dryer which match local voltage, so you can travel worry free. If you travel with children, there are also some toys awaiting them in the old wooden 'treasure chest' in the living room. Or they may like a visit to the indoor and outdoor swimming pool landscape with artificial waves, huge slide, etc. nearby or a stroll through the great city park with playgrounds, duck pond, etc. (about 5 minute walk away). A crib is available at no charge upon request. You are also welcome to use the garden (in the summer time you may even be able to find some red currants fresh from the bush).

Munich airport is a 1 hour drive (there is a shuttle service, which brings you from door to door), Memmingen airport (Ryanair) is a 2 hour drive. Frankfurt Airport can be reached by direct train connection (3hrs 30 minutes). From the Regensburg train station, the apartment can easily be reached by bus (12 Minute direct bus ride right to the building) or by taxi (less than 10 minutes, costs are about 10 Euro). Parking is also available upon request. There are two bakery shops (one with great pastry, one with fresh rolls) each one block away and there is a small grocery store within 5 minute walking distance. Several nice restaurants are within 5-10 minute walking distance.
